When I try to upgrade apt it says open-vm-tools kept back but when I try to upgrade specifically it occurs error saying dependency fail. Full error process given below. For any additional information please ask to resolve my issue.

I'm getting very slow boot, can't find out the exact reason but dmesg shows apparmor profile loading is eating most of the time. I'm not sure its really making it or something else are reason behind. I've Dual boot Windows 10 & Ubuntu 18.04, but I've removed Windows and formatted the Windows drive completely because of the slow boot. Still it takes a minute or 2-3 to start.

Any tips from where to start and what should I do will help me out.

Do I need to keep LightDM after installing GDM3. If not then will it effect any other programmes on removing. Please do not hesitate to ask any info or data needed regarding this problem.

N.B.: I wanna remove because it's slowing my boot time.

After upgrading to Ubuntu 18.04, I can't find xkill on pressing Alt+F2. Instead it shows a message box with a text-field titled as Enter a Command.

How can I find xkill on Ubuntu 18.04 and what is the purpose of this new window?

I found xkill on dashboard and my pointer turned into an "x" sign on clicking it. It doesn't change back when I press Esc.

What does this "x" sign stand for and what does it do?

Opening Package Updater saying a message All packages are up to date.

Behind that a error message saying

Could not get list of distribution upgrades

Failed to process request

in more details I get:

Tried the following commands but all are doing fine accept openning the package updater.

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get --fix-broken install

After upgrading from Ubuntu 16.04 to 18.04, phpmyadmin shows the below message:

OpenSSL error: error:0906D06C:PEM routines:PEM_read_bio:no start line

The system was fine before upgrading.

2nd Error

Downloading another zip file of zoiper from searching google (Lost the file and site address) it started fine but after restarting PC when I try to start it only shows some blinking icon on sidebar for a couple time and stop.

Please let me know what am I doing wrong or need any information.
