I have uninstalled Firefox Quantum browser previously installed via "Ubuntu Software" on 18.04.2. Does that mean all my profile data is lost altogether with the bookmarks?
I was expecting to find the data in my default profile directory still on the disk so I can copy it to the "vanilla" Firefox installation via apt. Looking for the places.sqlite does show it in the newly installed Firefox profile but not the old Firefox Quantum one.
I have this boilerplate in a minimal Anjuta app that runs. I do not want to install pandas to the system python path so I am using Virtualenv. When I add import pandas as pd I get the following error message.
Not sure if this is Anjuta or Pandas related. I have googled for the error message but nothing instrumental. What do I do?

The same import pandas as pd runs fine if used from a command line python script from the same directory and same virtualenv. Also it runs when called via subprocess.call() from Anjuta runmode.
I am on Ubuntu 18.04 and have installed Anjuta with apt, pandas with pip install pandas.
I have an iPhone 8 that initially connects via USB so that the Pictures and Documents folders are available under Ubuntu 17.10. However this works only once between Ubuntu reboots.
How do I troubleshoot this?
This must be a bug or a configuration issue, not some software missing or completely defunct, because it actually works first time after a reboot.
What happens is that if I disconnect and connect the iPhone again the folder Pictures does not re-appear in the Files application. The folder Documents does appear upon a second re-connect but does not on the third re-connect. I do not see any errors in the dmesg.

and was able to successfully re-validate after entering my iPhone passcode but the folders would not re-appear.

So herewith I seem to have a workaround for accessing the Photos folder. Obvioulsly I would like it to work without the sudo clutches.
The mouse is associated with the receiver, detected and seen by the Solaar applet but the curstor doesn't move. What should I try to fix?
This M510 mouse was/is working with Ubuntu 12.10 and Windows. The machine is the Dell XPS 13 laptop with pre-installed Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial. Synaptics touchpad is working fine too.

Besides apt says: E: Unable to locate package xserver-xorg-input-mouse. It seems to be last available for wily.
the Ctrl+Super+Right/Left does not seem to have any function on Ubuntu 16.04 on the contrary to the answer about the Ubuntu 15 creating split view windows on Ubuntu How could I set up a shortcut Ctrl+Super+Right/Left to make a current window to fill right/left side of the screen? I have checked the system -> keyboard shortcuts and neither the Ctrl+Super+Right/Left nor "tile windows" shortcut is present there under any category.
