I have glitch in Geany (version 1.32), Ubuntu 18.04. The scroll bars become completely orange over the entire width (or height), and this makes it difficult to use for its intended purpose. Is it possible to solve it? Terminal shows this errors:

Is it possible, where there is a orange circle, write a more detailed path to the open folder in Ubuntu 18.04?

I have Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

I have downloaded Telegram from here. The file was compressed with the extension tar.xz.

I have unpacked this file and run the file Telegram (without extension) using common user (not admin). The application started and worked OK.

But why does Ubuntu not tell me, "Don't run this app, because it is not safe"?

Is it really safe to run such applications, which do not need installation, which run easily when double clicked?

And what are apps like this called? What name do they have? “Portable”?

How to disable avahi-daemon in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS? I have tried

sudo sh -c "echo 'manual'>/etc/init/avahi-daemon.override"

but seems it does not work.

And how to disable cups-browsed? I have tried

sudo sh -c "echo 'manual'>/etc/init/cups-browsed.override"

but seems it does not work.

Will the flashback desktop environment be able for installation in future versions of Ubuntu? (In Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and future versions)
