I've apt update'd from my sources.list, but the install fails because it apparently links to a non-existent package.

• http://ports.ubuntu.com/pool/main/a/apache2/ lists apache2_2.4.18-2ubuntu3.3_armhf.deb but not apache2_2.4.18-2ubuntu3.1_armhf.deb (3.3 vs. 3.1). Is this an issue with the repo or my config?
• For what it's worth, I didn't think the issue was a PPA-wide 404 as the repo exists but is missing the package. (I'm only using default ports.ubuntu.com sources (armhf), and xenial is not EOL, right? Unless just xenial-security has moved to old-releases: old-releases.ports.ubuntu.com?)

I see that the kernel-ppa has no xenial dist folder. How can I fix this error or deactivate the from throwing an error over the lack of xenial folder?

The errors make sense because they're not in the actual directory: http://ports.ubuntu.com/dists/xenial-backports/main/ But how else am I supposed to get i386 packages? If I'm using an install script for dependencies and it fails, does it mean the script needs to update its packages to use :i386 at its end?

Is this something to change in my sources list or am I using a bad mirror? How can I fix this from CLI?

In the Software & Updates window (software-properties-gtk) and Additional Drivers tab, I can choose between versions of the proprietary NVIDIA drivers and the "X.Org X server" Nouveau driver. If I didn't have graphical/GUI access, how could I run the equivalent command of switching between preferred drivers from the command line interface?

I know Ubuntu uses stable releases that it can support, but some repos require later versions of cmake. I want to overwrite the old cmake with the later version of cmake, but the common PPA doesn't carry the cmake I need. How can I upgrade cmake to use the needed version without conflicts with the older version?

When I hold down Control and press a key that has no corresponding shortcut, nothing will happen onscreen (even if I'm in an input field). But if I hold down Super and do the same, the corresponding key will display in the input field. How can I set the Super modifier key to ignore the input for bad shortcuts rather than entering the key as if Super wasn't held in the first place?

In OS X, the Alfred Powerpack lets users search and retrieve from their clipboard history for a while. Albert, the Alfred lookalike for Linux, doesn't appear to have that feature.

What tools will let me search and access old entries from my clipboard history? Is there a search option in GPaste?
