Help: Every time I open a LibreOffice document, it is blank but I can open files in word office format.

When I open any LibreOffice it is blank! I realized that the data is in the files because I can copy/paste to my google drive and open it correctly from google drive using Firefox. If then I download it to my laptop and try to open it as a LibreOffice document it is blank, but If I download it as a word office document it opens correctly!

I also created a document in LibreOffice, saved it, close LO, and reopen. Same result: it opens like a new blank document, without any of the info previously saved.

I tryed to remove all LibreOffice apps so I can reinstall them but I can't. I get the message that I must use dpkg manualy <<configure -a>> to correct the problem. I have no idea what this means.

Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS Lenovo. Ryzen 7.

In 18.04 the google to do list and calendar tasks where automatically synchronized with the to-do app and calendar, but this is not happening with 20.04.01 (my google accounts are already "registered" to Ubuntu) Is there anything I can do? Thanks

I just can't start Ubuntu. All I get is shown in the immages. Please help! I tried the recovery mode but just the same. What is "initrams"? I've being using it for a week, sometimes with problems fot booting but never as this.

I just upgraded from 18.04.4 to 20.04.01. After booting the screen just goes black and I can only see the white mouse arrow at the lower right corner. The "user" and password areas are not visible at all, all is black.

I have done two things in order to start Ubutu: 1) Re-boot (alt + ImpSc + SUB) or just turn off by pressing the O button, and maybe will work as normal. 2) pressing enter (as to select user) and typing my password (as it where visible) and then enter. That works, but I do all on a black screen.

This is a Lenovo Ideapad L340, Ryzen 7

I tried to find an answer at "My computer boots to a black screen, what options do I have to fix it?"  but I couldn't find it there. Many answers there are very old and that makes me doubt if that is still applicable now (I'm just a user, not an expert) I clicked in "If an update or something else caused your problem" then "ATI/AMD Users" but the problem described under that point is different.

Any one knows what can I do to fix it?

I messed up the audio settings and now I can’t use Skype because the computer doesn’t “listen” to the microphone (plugged or not). I can hear, but they can not hear me, as if my microphone is off, but it is not. I used Pulse Audio Volume Control to try to record the computer sound using Audacity, but I only got the problem described. Is there a way to reset the audio settings to the original mode (ubuntu 18.04.4)

I just wanted to install Skype but it says that this app can access to all my personal files and system resources. What does this mean? Does this means that somehow Skype can copy, delete or open my personal files? or change my computer setup like installing files, etc? Is it safe to install Skype app? Thanks.

I would like to add an online account provider that is not listed by default in Ubuntu 18.04 (www.clarodrive.com). Is this possible?

I got a Lenovo Ideapad L340-15API and the webpages are not displaying correctly either in mozilla or chromium. They display centered in a limited area. Also the general size of all graphics and fonts in Ubuntu 18 is reduced. I tryed by changing the screen resolution size, but didnt work. I want to check if the drivers ar OK to thiscard this as a possible reazon or fix it. Thank you.

If I connect the phone (Pocophone f1, xiaomi) to Ubuntu 18.04 it only charges, it seems Ubuntu doesnt see the phone, or the phone doesn't see Ubuntu. Does anyone know anything about? Thanks.

Dragging and dropping files in Gmail is not working in Ubuntu 18.04 and Mozilla Firefox.

I trap the file, drag it to the mail box (drop your file here) and nothing happens (The image of the file returns to its original place. Sometimes the "drop your file here" Gmail box remains frozen) The file never is attached.
