I am attempting to install the latest development version of Wine (wine-devel) under Ubuntu 18.04 Bionic Beaver from the WineHQ PPA but the following error message stops me:

How do I successfully complete the installation of Wine Development version under Ubuntu 18.04? I would prefer to use only the Wine PPA and not add another PPAs such as the OpenSuse Build Service as suggested in other Ask Ubuntu answers...
I am currently using Ubuntu Focal Fossa 20.04 LTS and I would like to create high quality AV1 files using FFmpeg and librav1e. I have been spurred along by the addition of rav1e support to FFmpeg as 'librav1e'.

It is early days for rav1e support under FFmpeg with not a lot of documentation and published experimentation in place. It would be great to see it all working under an Ubuntu LTS release!
The 'canonical' abcde conf file section of the website at andrews-corner has been removed, what is a conf file that I can use now to rip my audio cds with abcde to multiple different formats at the same time under Ubuntu?

I have installed Wine and I am quite happy with my current version but winetricks has let me down a few times with various error messages.
How do I update winetricks to get the very latest version on Ubuntu?
Python 3.5.1 came out on December 7th 2015 and as a beginning Python coder I would like to try the very latest version on my Ubuntu installation. At the moment Wily Werewolf 15.10 ships version 3.4 and there are some great improvements in the newest version.
I am currently running Wily Werewolf and I would be keen to hear some methods to update Python to 3.5.1.
I see that H.265/HEVC encoding is gathering momentum but under some versions of Ubuntu it is not all that easy to produce H.265 video streams.
How should I go about using x265, in a manner that integrates with Ubuntu (especially the LTS releases Trusty and Xenial), to produce HEVC video files under Ubuntu?
