I use Ubuntu 18.04, I have just bought an Epson WF-7710 and have successfully installed the scanner and service centre, but when I install the printer I only get basic functionality. I can not get advanced functions for photo printing. I have found a temporary solution through TurboPrint 30 day free trial, would prefer not to have to pay for this program.
jacques hervieux's questions
Under 16.04 I could download my gopro via shotwell after upgrading libgphoto. When I moved on to 18.04 everything worked fine for a while but not anymore. I have upgraded libgphoto once again but it doesn't seem to work anymore. Are there any other option than shotwell , if not what is the fix for this. Many thanks Jaq

I have tried to apt remove digikam
and apt purge digikam
and recieved this message

You might want to run 'apt --fix-broken install' to correct these.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
digikam-private-libs : Depends: libkf5sane5 (>= 4.3.4) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libqtav1 but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libqtavwidgets1 but it is not going to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt --fix-broken install' with no packages (or specify a solution).
I have tried to install aptitude and get the same message. Digikam appears as not installed in the Software center and when I press install I get an error message.Everything seem to work fine other than that. Thanks a bunch,,,,,Jacques
