Fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04 with visual stuttering on both wayland and Xorg (disabled wayland on /etc/gdm3/custom.conf and rebooted). Here is a recording showing the stuttering on the gnome terminal, and here is a recording showing the stuttering when moving the gnome terminal window. Please note the spike in CPU usage on the latter example.

If I go to the "text mode" with ctrl + alt + f3, there is no stuttering. Also, on Ubuntu 21.10 I had no such issue.

I have a i7 9770k and RTX 2070.

What should I do?

I downloaded, verified the MD5 digest and fleshed ubuntu 19.04 into an USB flash drive using ubuntu 18.04's usb creator and windows's rufus and both gave me this result:

My monitor's resolution is 2550 x 1440, connected through a displayport to a RTX 2070. This appears right after selecting either "try ubuntu without installing" or "install ubuntu". I just repeated everything I did when installed 18.04, which worked just fine. Can anyone help me? What am I missing?

Is 1048577 the limit of open files in Ubuntu? If I try the following code it works.

However, if I change the value to 1048578 the setrlimit function will return the code 1 and errno will be set to 1 as well.

I'm trying to use webgl on the last version of Chrome and Firefox but both say:

Sorry, Your Browser doesn't support WebGL!

I'm at ubuntu 12.04 64. What should I install to get this working?
