I have ubuntu 18.04 LTS installed, and when I close the cover of my computer to put it to sleep, it turns on all alone a few seconds later ... I always find it turned off the next day because the battery was emptied, and this also happens when I leave my computer connected to its charger.
Is it normal? And how can i fix this? Thank you for your help
I have Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and i installed Viber for linux. Everything's working fine, but when i got a new message for example, the notification sound is not clean and seems like a "crash" and didn't find a way to disable the sound of viber notifications.

Before upgrading to Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, I was using Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS. When I was in the file browser, I was able to access a file just by writing some letters; it just got selected and it was super fast.
After upgrading, when I start typing a search is launched and it's a little bit slow. I prefer the old method.
I tried searching on the internet but didn't know exactly what to type on the search bar.
How can I disable this automatic search? Thank you
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 running on Android 7.0, i upgraded my os from 16.04.1 lts to 18.04 lts, and now when i plug my phone on my computer with my usb data cable, i barely can't access it..
When i click on the phone to open the directory, the mouse cursor change to the loading cursor and get stuck on it, i can't change the directory so i'm obliged to quit the File Manager...
I tried searching if somebody had the same issue but didn't find anything, i also tried rebooting, repluging and stuff...

I upgraded my system to ubuntu 17.10. I could turn on my bluetooth and use it normally. But today, I don't know why and how, I can't turn it on. In the top-right I can only press Turn Off open Bluetooth Settings. The Turn Off button doesn't toggle even if I press it. Even when I open the Bluetooth Settings I can't turn it on from there.
Does anybody have a solution?
I upgraded to Ubuntu 17.10 and wanted to boot with the unity environment, but when I did, I noticed that the keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl+Alt+T for the terminal were not working(only when I boot in unity).
How can I fix that?
I have an Ubuntu 17.04 instance that randomly locks up. Nothing responds so I have to turn off the PC using the power button.
I've realised that the issue starts when I try to reboot my computer... Sometimes the wifi stops working for like 15 seconds and then asks me for the wifi password.
I tried to personnalise my boot theme, and downloaded themes on internet, but it didn't work. The problem is that now when i shut down my computer, the shut down theme is just a black screen with Plasma 5.9.5 wrote on it... Can you help? im a beginner and have ubuntu 17.04

I recently installed Ubuntu 17.04 on my computer and I am a new Linux user.
I activated my Bluetooth and tried to send some pictures from my phone (after connecting the device to the laptop) but it failed.
I tried then sending a picture from my laptop to my phone and it didn't do anything.
I changed the Share Settings and activated the Bluetooth sharing as it is said in the documentation but...
What to do? Thank you
