I've just installed docker desktop app for Debian. When I run it, the gui starts but it hangs with "Docker Desktop starting..." message.
Do you know what to do?
I didn't find a command with which I can run this program from terminal to see the errors.
Can I install Python 3.10 on Ubuntu 20.04 using apt without worrying that it breaks the Python 3.8?
I use Python 3.8 in many projects.
I'd run this:

It returns error as the directory doesn't exist.
But I can't see the error when it's called by CRON.
I checked /tmp/cronlog.log which does not exist.

This happened at least the second time this month. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with crashing but I noticed that it's the second time all accounts disappeared from Thunderbird like it was freshly installed.

Usually, when I open Chrome/Firefox from Slack or PyCharm/IntellijIdea, it shows up in the sidebar group of the app that it was opened from. Then, other instances are being added to the group too.
It's very annoying and I can't figure out how to fix it.
Is there a universal solution for this?
I've recently upgraded from 20.04 to 21.04. The problem is that I have many python virtualenvs that use python 3.8 which is not installed by default.
How can I fix the virtualenvs so it works again?

I have a fresh installation of Ubuntu 20.04 and I can't make my second monitor work. I've switched from nouveau to NVIDIA 460 and I can't make it work.
The monitor is detected but when I try to set "join displays" and click on apply, I can see that it immediately jumps back to the default settings.
I thought that I can set it up in NVIDIA settings but there is no such option.

I have a problem with sound which sometimes crackling/stuttering. It happend on Ubuntu 18.04 but I reinstalled to Ubuntu 19.04 and the same thing happens.
I've found these records. It logs only when the crackling sound appears so it has to be an answer here but I don't know what does it mean.
I've killed pulseaudio and run it manually:

EDIT4 So most of the times, this problem seems to happen when something is loading into the memory.
I tried to run stress test:
stress --cpu 8 --io 4 --vm 4 --vm-bytes 1024M --timeout 10s
This didn't do anything but when I double (sometimes it needs more) the --vm-bytes everything freeze for those 10 seconds. So I suppose there is a memory issue but I don't what to do next.

I have problems with Ubuntu 18.04 and I can't debug this problem for weeks. I hope you could help me to diagnose it because I really tried everything except reinstalling Ubuntu.
It randomly (approximately one time per minute) freezes for a very short time and sound starts crackling. It feels like CPU or GPU problem but I can't figure out where is the problem. It happens mostly when I open window or refresh chrome tab etc but sometimes when I do not anything.
Moreover, video players likes to freeze whole Ubuntu sometimes.
I have three monitors connected to GPU but it happens even with two monitors. GTX 1060 6GB
Things like htop or top don't help - I would have to checking it realtime and even then it isn't much helpful.
Isn't there something which detects CPU, RAM, DISK peaks and logs it somewhere alongside information about which process caused it?
Here are some information:
CPUs are probably ok - they are not on constant 800 Mhz
syslog doesn't log anything at times the crackling and short freezing happens (last happend 12:38:11) - this is the end of syslog

chrome is closed, confirmed, happenstop when it happenstop

The freezing/crackling is not caused by any cron job, it clearly happens mostly when I do something like opening windos, refreshing chrome etc.

I noticed that when I do some action, sound starts crackling and mouse starts freezing for a short amount of time (like 1 sec).
This happens, for example, when I scroll page on browser (not just Chrome) or when I start some program, sometimes when I type on keyboard.
Everytime this happens, CPU usage of
/usr/bin/pulseaudio --start --log-target=syslog
jumps to 30% - 60% for a moment (like 1 sec).
Do you know what to do to fix this?

I have a folder music on my HDD and folder Music in external HDD. I want these 2 folders to be synced (ie if I add/remove/edit something in one folder, the changes immediately reflects in another).
I think that Unison could do this but I'm struggling setting Unison to sync automatically. For now, I have to manually sync.
I've read that repeat=watch should do the thing but I can't set it.
As you can see the value "watch" hasn't been saved.
I tried nano ~/.unison/Music\ HDD\ EXT\ HDD.prf and manually set repeat = watch and tried to put some file into one folder but it didn't copied it into another.
Do you have any ideas?
Two weeks ago I installed Ubuntu 18.04 for the first time. I have a wired internet connection there.
Most of the time, connection works good but sometimes, 2 or 3 times a day, I suddenly have no internet connection. I need to turn the wired connection OFF and then ON to fix this.
Can't figure out where is the problem. The cable is OK and connection works on other devices in the network.
I have automatically installed drivers.
Do you know what can I do?
Trying to install YouTube To MP3 application on Ubuntu 18.04 which works on my Ubuntu 16.04 without problems.
When I double-click on the deb file, it runs GUI installer but when I click on install, it starts to install, then stops and show no errors but the install button is still there. 
So I try to install it manually, but there are errors too. I'll show you here my steps:

I've installed an Ubuntu 18.04. When I try to reformatting code shortcut in PyCharm - CTRL+SHIFT+L, Ubuntu raises something - Mate-settings-daemon "" is ready or before:
I suppose it's because this Ubuntu uses this shortcut too but I don't know how to disable it.
I tried to find it in Keyboard shortcuts, but it isn't there.
Do you know how to make it work so I can use this shortcut in PyCharm?
Recently, I've noticed that my PC is very slow (even youtube videos aren't fluent).
I have acer aspire nitro 5 and my battery is probably dead.
I thought that it's throttling because of high CPU temperatures but it isn't:

I can see that CPU frequency is about 800.000 MHZ which is the lowest possible.

And as you can see the usage is very high (I started Intellij Idea)

I tried to manually set CPU frequency to max:
sudo cpufreq-set -f `cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq`
but it returns error:

(super-user?) - Is the governor you requested available and modprobed? - Trying to set an invalid policy? - Trying to set a specific frequency, but userspace governor is not available, for example because of hardware which cannot be set to a specific frequency or because the userspace governor isn't loaded?

I'm looking for some python log viewer where I can filter logs based on their level.
I've found only one thing: Logview which would be great but links are dead and I didn't find it anywhere else.
Do you have any recommendations?
