What I did: dolphin, mark file, right click, activity, click on . what happens: everything stocks, black screen with moucse cursor, Windows and plasmashell comes up again with all Windows and trays still open except dolphin. gdb output:

Thank you for asking for needed further details. Kubuntu 15.10, Nvidia Zotac Geforce GT750, NVidia 352 installed.

Dear ladies and gentlemen, After a fresh install of Kubuntu 15.10 and some installations including Nvidia driver 352 from repos in order to switch to Zotac GeForce GTX750, some windows will not close properly when closed by clicking the "X". The program is terminated, i guess, but the window stays as a zombie. just the graphical window.

I'm not really a professional here, please ask for details if needed to solve this problem. xprop and pointing on one of those zombies shows:

Me and my clementine 1.2.3 on Kubuntu 14.04 again... ;/ This time it's about a .wma audio file. Clementine plays it half and then shows the following error:

Which translates to Could not demultiplex stream.

The error is reproducible with 5 completely dirrefent wma's so far.

I also tried to delete that .bin file in the hidden folder.

Using Clementine 1.2.3, Kubuntu 12.04. Clementine shows each track in my collection twice, even though only one file exists. Any idea why? Further info by asking informally.

Collection Folders are two, one where my music is (all files shown twice) and one where i let clementine organize the files. Files are deleted after organizing with clementine. Foldernames:

/AFS/Musik

/MusClementine

using Clementine 1.2.3 on Kubuntu 14.04.

Problem: Playing some titles suddenly skips and the next song in the playlist comes up. if ran by Konsole, clementine shows the following message, while the gui doesn't show anything.

I use Activities in KDE to organize my kubuntu-desktops separately by their use, but unfortunately my media activity is the start-up by default. How can I customize that?

I have installed a Windows 7 as virtualbox-guest. My Ubuntu works as host. The sound is stuttering ugly. I tried to change that by changing the Audio-Controller to ICH AC97 and install the driver downloaded from CHIP. Result: After a restart nothing has changed, Sound stutters like before. Is there a way to get a proper sound? The Guest additions are installed and are working fine.

I recently installed Linux MINT 15 64bit as a guest in a UBUNTU 12.04 LTS host. Everything is working just fine, except that the complete machine turns off completely (the host, physical machine) and the screen turns black. Has anyone an idea how to fix (or even find) the problem? Is this failing hardware or has it to do with the virtualBox-thing? Any help appreciated.

If I pause the guest when CPU gets over 65°C, the machine doesn't freeze anymore. My CPU is not overclocked. Is there any way to allow only a specific percentage of CPU-usage (or only a specific freq) to prevent overheating? Is there any chance do anything in Hardware without changing the CPU?

Note: the built-in CPU-limiter in vBox doesn't work.

I think it would be very nice to present on a projector with my laptop showing the notes! I appreciate any help and I love you if you find it by tomorrow!

Terminator is very powerful at organizing several computers or servers due to the split window and group all function. But here's the deal: I created my own Layout and would appreciate it to load at startup of terminator. Is that possible?

I have two different screens, one FullHD and one HDready and i often have openend many windows. To manage these, the Ubuntu workspaces do a good job, but it would be excellent if it could be changed seperately, so that i can have the windows on the right that are used less often but need a look on and those on the left that are needed to change often. So i could have 8 workspaces and seperately choose one for every monitor. Is there anything like that?
