when I used xfce and hexchat I always saw a small icon on the top when hexchat was open. I switched to Ubuntu (Gnome) 18.04 yesterday and I don’t see it on the topbar. Why ?
Emil Engler's questions
I use Ubuntu Mate 18.04. Every time I do a left-click on my mouse mate-calculator starts up. I did nothing and how can I prevent this ? Here is what happens to me.
I use Compiz if this matters
EDIT: The issue was my mouse which does not work anymore.
I have Ubuntu 18.04 installed on my UEFI machine. I want to change the passphrase of my luks encrypted volume. I already know the commands of how to do this. However I don't know which device I need to choose for changing the key ? The EFI parition which is smaller than 1GB or the root partition which takes the whole space of the system ?
When I install a snap with snap install <SNAPNAME>
then it is being downloaded and mounted. When I remove it with snap remove <SNAPNAME>
then 'everything' is being deleted like the snap, user settings dependecies and so on. But when I re-install the snap after removing it, it has no download time so the snap must be stored somewhere.
How can I clear the cache of snapd with all uninstalled snaps?
