I recently purchased chromecast 2 and wanted to use it with Ubuntu 18.04. I searched here and saw all answers were from 2013 and nothing works. There is also an addon on chrome apps but that is old and discontinued. (Link)

Okay this might sound weird but I did a fresh install after struggling with various issues with Ubuntu 18.04. I saw the "Other Locations" in the file explorer and I saw My laptopname-NOTEBOOK in the network. Not sure what happened there and I also saw my laptop name on my android mobile file explorer while exploring devices on my home network. That was weird, anyone here knows what might switch this off ?
I am having this weird icon in Ubuntu 18.04 from a few days. My laptop is having a wierd black icon in the shape of a person just above the status bar. You can check it at screenshot below
If I restart my system, it disappears but it randomly appears. I am not sure what it is and it feel as if my system is hacked or something. If anyone knows about this, please let me know.
I am having this problem in Ubuntu 18.04, my laptop gets stuck whenever I open two browsers or lot of tabs (10+) and I have to wait for at least 10-15 mins before it becomes normal. I cleaned up my browser data and installed scripts such as noscript thinking that it might be some malware or miner script but even after this, the problem is still there.
Before 18.04, I was having Ubuntu 16.04 and it never got stuck even if I was using 2 browsers and multiple applications. Any fix for this ?
I am having this weird problem in Ubuntu 18.04. My laptop gets stuck at the shutdown screen every time I use shutdown and I have to manually press the power button for 5 seconds to turn the machine off.
Before 18.04, I was using Ubuntu 16.04 and it never got stuck at shutdown.
Any fix for this?

I am using hp laptop and recently installed Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. I was previously using windows and wifi button was working fine in that so I think Wifi button is okay but in ubuntu it is always orange (switched off).
I searched on askubuntu and tried
sudo rfkill list all
but it didn't work and also I don't see any output once I use this command
My iwconfig output is
eno1 no wireless extensions.
lo no wireless extensions.
I also tried rebooting system after setting the bios to default but that also didn't work for me. I also tried removing battery method but that also didn't work.
Hopefully someone has answer to this problem.
