I'm trying to install CertBot to issue a let's encrypt certificate for a domain but on my Ubuntu Server 16.04 I get errors when I run

sudo apt install python-certbot-apache

I get the following error

I've run apt-get clean, apt-get update but I get always the same error.

I have an Ubuntu Server 18.04 with only a snap of NextCloud installed.

I have added today a 4TB Hard Disk, I've created a unique partition with gdisk with a GPT partition table and then formatted using ext4.

Then I've restarted the system and I get the following screen message:

You are in emergency mode. After logging in, type journalctl -xb to view
system logs, ....

In the journal I don't see any error.

Instead in the startup I see that the system has problem mounting the drives.

• sda(ext4) is the main sata drive, with the OS, and mount fine
• sdb(ext4) is the new secondary 4TB USB drive, that started all the issue.
• sdc(ext3) is the old secondary 2TB USB drive, that I have to replace with the new one 4TB drive. Please note that before this drive was on sdb.

I've modified the fstab file in order to mount the drives at boot accordingly to their filesystem.

If I run fdisk the two drives are not shown

sdb (the new 4TB USB drive) is mounted, and I can list a sample file I've placed inside.

sdc (the old 2TB USB drive) doesn't mount as it says:

wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdc, missing codepage or helper program, or other error

Please note that if I remove the new 4TB USB drive, leaving the old 2TB USB drive, everything works perfectly.

The issue is present only when I try to plug the new 4TB USB drive even alone without the old 2TB USB drive.

I've installed the NextCloud snap on my Ubuntu 18.04 Server.

After successful installation, I created a user through the command line and then I changed the data directory to a new media drive that is linked with a symbolic soft link to the directory /cloud-data.

In particular, I've gone through the following steps:

1. I've connected the removable media plug:

   sudo snap connect nextcloud:removable-media
   

2. Disable the snap:

   sudo snap disable nextcloud
   

3. I've changed the datadirectory in /var/snap/nextcloud/current/nextcloud/config/config.php and the new config is:

Then, if I browse to 192.168.1.30, I get an error page:

I've tried to truncate the table oc_filecache, hoping that after the regeneration everything went fine, but nothing has changed.

I have followed the instructions on the official website, but I think that something is missing. Maybe I need to change something in the database? Or maybe a chown to a particular user?

no way to make the network works on the new ubuntu server. This is the netplan yaml file:

I'm going crazy, it was so simple before! Why doesn't work? what does it mean this error?

I have got an Ubuntu server 16.04 with vsftpd already installed and configured. and I'm able to access with a user admin317934, that is able to browse the whole filesystem.

Now I'd like to restrict the access of this user to a specific folder (that should not be his home but a folder under /var/data/317934) And I'd like also to add another user called user076935

I'm not able to understand where the FTP users are set and where I have to go to modify their permissions and passwords.

The vsfptd.conf file has the following:

From the above configuration I see there's no virtual user defined, right? If I try to list all users with cut -d: -f1 /etc/passwd there is no one named admin317934

Looking in the file /etc/vsftpd.chroot_list I can see listed admin317934 and another one called admin999546 but without any password specified or home directory.

So which is the right way to configure users for FTP?

I'm trying to install Zabbix on Ubuntu Server 16.

I've followed all the instructions here:

but, I'm not able to find the apache configuration for zabbit, as described in the last point, in order to set the right date.timezone. Infact I'm able to run http://my_ip/zabbix web interface, but on the second step, Check of pre-requisites, I get the following error: Time zone for PHP is not set (configuration parameter "date.timezone"). Is the only fail in the pre-requisites.

The file /etc/httpd/conf.d/zabbix.conf doesn't exist and I don't know how to set the following
