I have to manually start ibus each time I have to boot in to my kubuntu 20.04. I have tried several methods including adding the ibus-daemon into my start up application. I also followed this links.

How to add iBus to start up applications?

I have also included these lines in my ~/.bashrc

export GTK_IM_MODULE=ibus
export XMODIFIERS=@im=ibus
export QT_IM_MODULE=ibus

and relogged in. Still it does not work out for me. Anybody have a suggestion on how to resolve this issue?

To mention, I have installed ibus avro in my kubuntu 20.04.

I am a Kubuntu 20.04 user. Using the disk usage manager tool, I found out that there are around 32 gb log files in my log folder under var directory. But I cannot track where the files are. When I clicked in side the folder as root privileged user, I found out that there are only 500 mb log files. I am attaching the image of my directory status.

Anyone have a clue about that??

In my Ubuntu 18.04 I can't WiFi adapter. When I run iwconfig this happens:

arka@arka-HP-ProBook-450-G3:~$ iwconfig
enp1s0    no wireless extensions.
lo        no wireless extensions.

and I am not able to install any network driver. How can i resolve this situation?

when i try this command for upgrade

~$ sudo do-release-upgrade -d 

i get this results and cannot get my system upgraded.. any reason behind this??
