I have had many issues with printers - can never get the same result - sometimes they work - sometimes they dont - some times they print out blanks - just want to remove all printers but cant - Tried removing them in settings/printers but they just keep reappearing. I want them purged from my computer if possible.

I read where browsing can be turned off but I want them removed completely if possible.

no install, no download, just during a webpage viewing the wifi stopped working. A safe site with no viruses - verified a safe site.

• Wifi works on other devices.
• Wifi works on this same 18.04 machine(when/now booted on usb stick)
• I get a question mark icon instead of the connection icon on a regular bootup
• Now on the usb stick I get the connection icon and it works.
• The network settings have not changed and appear correct and working
• have rebooted, unplugged, and reset network connections and modem many times.

Ubuntu 18.04 - Brother Laser Printer - "does not accept jobs" - basically it just build up printing que in pending mode. I did click on properties to get latest driver.

Strange enough it "used to print" before my last update."

I read on one page that I needed to resart cups which I did "i think"

When I first installed Ubuntu I dual booted with awful disgusting windows and just decided this week to go pure Ubuntu. I love it however now I have a large formatted volume 500 gigs (where windows was, I formatted it in Linux) but my OS is only 20 gigs. I want to triple or quadruple my os partition and not lose any of my files.

Is there a way I can take space from the 500 gig partition and add it to my 20 gig os partition?

I clicked the gear icon/ edit mount options but don't know which field changes the actual label for the volume that shows upon my desktop visually.

I am running Ubuntu 18.04 and need to install the following gimp add on:

https://packages.ubuntu.com/bionic/gimp-normalmap

Not sure how to do this, any advice is deeply appreciated.

I am able to connect on one wifi connection in a different location but am unable to connect to another wifi connection. The connection is a solid connection that I can connect to on other devices and computers.

Based on what I am reading I think I am supposed to update a file regarding network configuration. Not sure what to do.

I love the install of 18.04 and I also work with blender3d a great deal. I need the CUDA toolkit in order to render with my GPU instead of my CPU.

I have read that it's critical that I get the right toolkit or could have some pretty bad issues. Just want to confirm that it is available for Ubuntu 18.04.

Also, where to get it and confirm its the right one?
