I'm trying to install a steam game on a secondary drive. I have a partition set up and mounted at /media/impulse/{uuid}. However, when I open Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders > +, the directory picker doesn't list /mnt or /media. Why?

I have a jenkins setup on my server that has automatically created the jenkins user, which is used for its os-operations. However, I need Jenkins to stop and start a service (via systemctl) after a specific build has been completed.
My current script (that gets executed after a build of myapp) looks like this:
sudo systemctl stop myapp
rm -f /opt/myapp/myapp.jar
mv target/myapp.jar /opt/myapp
sudo systemctl start myapp
To make this work, I simply added the jenkins user to the sudoers file for all commands without password prompt:
jenkins ALL=(ALL:ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL
Is it safe to do this? What vulnerabilities do I expose myself to? Is there a better way to do this? If yes, how?
I have tried to create a custom motd on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. I've found that there is a /etc/update-motd.d directory with a few files. I've seen the pattern of [00-99]-[name]So I've added my own file called 20-fortune-cowsay. It looks like this
#!/bin/bash
echo "TEST"
fortune | cowsay
but the motd only looks like this
...
TEST
...
And I don't see the output of fortune | cowsay. Also, echo "$(fortune | cowsay)", didn't help. What am I missing?
