During Google Meet call, other people can hear whatever I can from my computer without me sharing my screen. It can be Youtube, FB video from Chrome or song I play on the Spotify app, whatever kind of sound I play. How can I fix this, I'm using Ubuntu 20.04.

For more details, I'm using a headset with only 1 input jack for both sound and mic. I connect this headset through a cable looks like below. It has 2 jacks on 1 side which connect to my PC for sound and mic. The other side would connect to the input jack of the headset.

How can I update my monitor refresh rate from 60Hz to 75Hz on Ubuntu 20.04. I'm having Samsung S24R350 75Hz display connecting to Intel UHD Graphics 630 on i5-10400 using VGA port. Running xrandr --output XWAYLAND0 --rate 75 doesn't do anything. Thanks.

I'm having skypeforlinux and whenever I click alt, it redirects the pointer to the top bar menu which I found absolutely annoying. I use alt + shift to switch between input layouts.

I have installed sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager but found Ubuntu Unity Plugin missing in Desktop. I also couldn't find Key to show the HUD on Ubuntu 20.04. How can I disable HUD globally?

I'm running Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS on this system

The problem is the highest resolution it can go up to is 1024x768, which is terrible. How can I set my resolution to a higher resolution (i.e. FHD which fits my screen)? Thanks.
