On this computer (ASUS Zenith II Extreme Alpha, dual boot) the GRUB menu selection moves two lines when I press the up or down arrow key. This isn't a problem when I want to boot the default OS, but is a hassle with I'm trying to select the non-default OS. I have to keep hitting up / down until it moves just one line (which happens once is a dozen or so key hits). I'm using logitech USB wired keyboard and mouse. I've also tried a wireless version, but same results. My GRUB version is: grub-install (GRUB) 2.04-1ubuntu26.12

My bios has legacy USB support enabled. I've done quite a bit of searching online, but nobody else seems to have this issue. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I can't get any input from my microphone (part of headset) on my ASUS Zenith II Extreme Alpha desktop running Ubuntu 20.04. I've tried many things I found while researching online, but none have helped. The microphone works fine under Windows 10 (dual boot). Sound settings give two options for sound: 1) Analog Input -USB Audio, and 2) Digital Input (S/PDIF) - USB Audio. Neither of these work for the microphone. The headphones do work. If I run the command:

cat /proc/asound/card*/codec* | grep Codec

I get only:

Codec: Nvidia GPU 91 HDMI/DP

The MOBO uses a SupremeFX S1220A High Definition Audio CODEC, which is a custom version of the Realtek ALC1220. Lastly, if I plug the headset 3.5mm jack into a USB-C adapter, and select "Headset Microphone - Headphone adapter" it works. Unfortunately, I don't want to use the adapter due to other reasons. Any suggestions?

I have a Western Digital 4TB drive (WD40PURZ). It appears that the recommended procedure for partitioning the drive results with: "Optimal transfer size 33553920 bytes not a multiple of physical block size (4096 bytes)" warning from the linux kernel. Should I be concerned about that?

After a fresh install of Ubuntu 18.04.2 on an HP x360 Spectre, Google, Microsoft, Facebook... all hang when clicked. Actually after several minutes, the Google window asked for the account name, but then returned after a few more minutes with "something went wrong...". Ubuntu Single Sign-On works. I had been using these accounts and a Microsoft Exchange account on this machine using an old install of 18.04. No problems with the accounts until now. The copy of Ubuntu 18.04.2 was just downloaded today. In case there is any confusion, I'm talking about going into Settings, and then Online Accounts.
