As shown in the picture the booting of Ubuntu is frozen in this screen,I'm not even able to boot in recovery mode.
I have tried to install a new Ubuntu 18.04 with both a live USB and CD/DVD but even that freezes with a beaver wallpaper and nothing happens(i.e 18.04 default wallpaper of Ubuntu 18.04 LTS). I hope I get some help regarding this issue.
PS: I have a dual boot (win7 + ubuntu 18.04 , win7 works fine).
How to use P2P operations using rtl8812au driver?
I have tried almost every driver which are available out there in github and also in the linux home; none of them are actually working correctly.
The only driver which I found usable was aircrack-ng-rtl8812au
But for P2P group operations even that has some issues.
I am using RTL8812AU based chipset USB Wi-Fi Adapter (Like ASUS AC56 , Linksys WUSB6300) in ubuntu (tried in different OS and Kernel version). And I am trying to make use of WI-Fi Direct using wpa_supplicant (P2P Enabled) with user app wpa_cli. In case of Intel Wireless Driver, whenever I do P2P_FIND or any scan command, from wpa_cli, my device is visible in any Wi-Fi Direct supported devices like Android, Windows etc. But in case of Realtek driver (rtl8812au), my device is not visible or listed in Wi-Fi Direct device list, whereas I can get the nearby peers available in my device. As well I am able to connect to any SSID available. So, am I missing something additional setup required for driver to make my device visible to other peer? Any help would be very helpful?

I am trying to implement Wifi-display in linux. My wpa_supplicant config contains config_methods=display pbc . Some android devices is sending P2P-INVITATION-RECEIVED with unkown-Network and go-dev-addr while other device simply starts with go-negotiation. I am not sure what would be the next step once we received P2P-INVITATION-RECEIVED . I tried to send P2P_CONNECT pbc join , nothing happens with it. Started new group and tried to connect with P2P_CONNECT as well as tried INVITING to peer with P2P_CONNECT. What would be the next step after we receive P2P-INVITATION-RECEIVED . Thanks,
