I have Ubuntu 22.04 and Ubuntu 18.04 installed on the same computer. If I work on one and then switch to the other, I have to reset the system. I am afraid too many resets may cause problems.
Is there a way to switch between 22.04 and 18.04 without booting the computer?

I uninstall and then reintall mysql on ubuntu 18.04, and after that I tried the following:
$ sudo service mysql start
~$ sudo /etc/init.d/mysql start

I used the following command for removing mysql and its out is also given below:

I deleted mysql from ubuntu 18.04. Now I am trying to install again. I tried the command:

The above command worked and ended with:

I already have java installed on my system. I installed java before installing Netbeans. I checked the version of java and javac commands:

So I decided to use /usr/lib/jvm/java-11-openjdk-amd64 as the path for JAVA_HOME

I am running Netbeans for the first time on ubuntu 18.04 so I am getting java.lang problem. Netbeans is not able to recognize the "String" class.
