I recently changes my user password using the command passwd, and then after I restarted the system and logged in using my newly set password, I started getting the annoying popups asking me to insert my KDE Wallet Service password, also my Wifi password was gone, and this popup showed every time I started Google Chrome, I tried both my old and current password, however non would seem to work, the only way I was able to get rid of the annoying popups in by reverting to my old password!

How can I solve this issue and change my user login password?

I have Kubuntu 17.10 64-bit.

For the last couple of days I have been trying to setup my VPS server to send and receive emails without using 3rd party services (e.g. gmail, hotmail...).

I have a website hosted on my VPS that is using LAMP (Ubuntu 14.04 and PHP 7.1) I installed Postfix and was successfully able to send emails using PHP, however what I want is to be able to read and reply to emails that users send to my website email (e.g. [email protected]) so I googled on how to do this and most of the answers I was able to find was used some external SMTP like gmail.

My DNS Records look something like this with the exception of using the proper server IP and proper domain name:

I don't want to use gmail, I want to host and to be able to send and receive email from my own server, and maybe connect [email protected] to thunderbird or outlook.

Note that my problem is not if I did setup my server correctly but how to setup my server correctly to accomplish sending and receiving emails without relying on services supplied by gmail and others like it.

I ran the command:

do-release-upgrade

After that Apache stopped running!

I tried the following:

# sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

When I try the cinfigtest command:

I am trying to install php curl like so:

How can I fix this?

I recently updated Ubuntu to 15.10, and since whenever I am playing counter strike on steam and hitting the Super key, volume up, volume down, mute or any key-bored button that will show a UI over the counter strike game window Ubuntu freezes!

The only thing I can access is the terminal using Ctrl+Alt+F1.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I recently updated ubuntu to 15.10. After the update I couldn't see any text in Skype! I tried reinstalling it

sudo apt-get purge skype

Deleted the /home/username/.Skype folder

and reinstalled Skype but that didn't solve the problem.

As you can see from the image screenshot above, I can't event start it now as it is stuck on the Terms of Use window

I managed to login after restarting ubuntu but then it failed again

After my last update and restart ubuntu changed the font size to a very small one! How can I change it back to normal?

I recently updated to ubuntu 14.04 LTS and I am having this issue ever since, a weird strange sound like radio frequency but this doesn't affect any other sound, I can still hear other sounds like music with this weird sound playing in the background. This comes and goes, I don't know how it is triggered and how it goes. any ideas? this happens on the laptop speakers and headphones.
