I have ASUS X550LD with Ubuntu 18.04 LTS installed. Problem is my PC starts automatically right after shut down. To fix the issue I visited couple of threads. One solution I found is disabling the Wake on LAN setting from BIOS, but I could not find that in my BIOS settings. There was a wake on lid option which I disabled.

Now when the laptop is not charging and is on battery it doesn't automatically start after shut down, but when the laptop is charging, the issue is still happening.

I had this issue before when I had Windows installed on my laptop, but that time it was a hardware issue and I fixed it by replacing the power button. Now the same problem is unexpected because if the hardware issue had persisted, it wouldn't have worked when laptop is not charging state i.e. on battery.

Is there any way to fix it?

My laptop battery is dead forever. It needs to be replaced. Since it is not working anymore, GNOME detects it as low battery and keeps popping up as notification on notification area. A screenshot for reference:

Is there anyway to get rid of it?

Afterall these, my brightness button responds very late like 4-5 minutes. Meaning it doesn't reflect the brightness changes immediately. Any solution?

I am using KDE Plasma, Currently the taskbar panel is looking like Windows. Can we make it transparent ? If Yes, How ?

Is there any way to move Plasma Taskbar to the top of the screen? Currently it is at the bottom which makes it look like Windows.

I am using GNOME Ubuntu Desktop Environment. Right now I have to select the text and then right click on it and then have to select copy option, and the same is the case for paste as well.

Using PuTTY terminal from Windows, once you select any text, it'll be copied. And to paste it we will have to just right click. Can we do similar settings on Ubuntu as well?

I am using GNOME's "Dash-to-panel" extension for shifting status bar to the top and same for the transparency.

In Desktop mode, the transparency is there on status bar

However, Status Bar Transparency does not persist when any app is opened in maximized mode

Is there any way to keep the transparency in maximized mode?

As per this answer, I tried using Dynamic-Panel-Transparency but after reboot it is showing an error and did not work as well:
