I can connect with an ICA file, but am unable to add an account, so I am unable to follow the steps for me to configure the microphone.
Is there another way to configure Citrix Workspaces to use my embedded microphone, or if I plug in a USB one to use that?
I used to be able to configure a SOCKS proxy in firefox (either v4 or v5), but now the host input element is completely not accepting user input. It is not disabled, but whatever I type is not getting entered into the field?
This should work out of the box, right?
I am using Ubuntu as my home router and since migrating from Funtoo/Gentoo, I noticed I periodically have connection drops whereas I did not before. Looking further at the logs, I see my external interface going down right @ the T1 time (half of the DHCP lease).
I am using netplan to configure my system with systemd-networkd as the dispatcher.
I thought that I could mark the connection as critical via /etc/systemd/networkd.conf:
[DHCP]
CriticalConnection=true
UseDNS=false
UseNTP=false
However, that doesn't appear to do anything.

I am installing steamcmd via a headless system and don't want to manually accept the license. Is that possible through debconf?
I tried this, but it detected that I did NOT accept the license:

Both English and Chinese fonts render correctly on my system and English is set as the default. I'm also using i3 as my window manager if that makes a difference.
When launching evince on Ubuntu 19.10, it takes about 15 seconds before evince opens. Dmesg output appears to be clean. I disabled the apparmor profile as I'm having problems with it being on an overlayroot. If I don't disable it, it won't even start.
The output from journalctl shows xdg-desktop-portal-gtk.service failed, but I'm not sure if that is directly related or just another problem.
I ran strace with evince; however, I am not seeing anything that stands out. There are a bunch of no such file or directory errors. I can post that if that will help.

I have atd running and have submitted jobs and received a job number, but it appears the job fails immediately as it looks like it wants to send mail:

I do not have a /etc/at.allow, but instead just have /etc/at.deny, so I doubt that is the issue. The executable I am trying to run does work if I invoke it directly, but not with at.
I have tried running at in debug mode with:
atd -d -f
with the hopes that I would see something useful, but I didn't get any output when invoking the job again.
Pulseaudio is running in daemon mode and I am able to play sound through aplay, vlc, etc, so I know sound is working.
The output of dmesg when chromium is running indicates that apparmor is blocking access to the sound device:

I have omitted irrelevant processes. The chromium snap is in enforce mode.
I don't believe the problem to be with pulseaudio, but instead with the configuration of the chromium snap. It is apparently blocking access to the sound device as indicated by the logs above.
When launching evince, I get this error:

I have attempted to stop apparmor (systemctl stop apparmor), but I still get those warning messages and libreoffice fails to start.
I am running Ubuntu with overlayfs root.
I am using netplan to configure my wired interface via DHCP:

I uninstalled dhclient and installed dhcpcd and even after running netplan apply, I cannot get the hostname (now via dhcpcd -U eno1).
If I manually do dhcpcd eno1 (before requesting the lease information), I can see the hostname.
Does networkd support using dhcpcd as the backend for dhcp leases? I presume that networkd must be using its internal DHCP client?
All I really want is to get the hostname for auditing purposes.
When booting back up, I noticed that I cannot import my ZFS pools automatically unless I use the -f flag. I get the warning saying that the pool was previously used ...
Now, when I boot up to funtoo/gentoo (and reboot), part of that reboot process includes exporting the ZFS pools.
I don't see any configuration options in /etc/default/zfs (nor any other file in /etc).
How can I ensure that these pools are automatically exported prior to reboot?
I am attempting to boot Ubuntu on a LUKS encrypted device - In a prior life, I specified the UUID as a kernel cmdline option and then the initramfs opened up that device with the credentials I provided.
From all the documentation I am seeing, it appears to me that I must build the initramfs with the device I want to unlock beforehand.
So, let's say I have 3 USB devices that I want to boot to. Instead of keeping all of the contents identical and tweaking the kernel cmdline, I would keep everything the same, BUT change the initramfs for each one to reference the device properly? The problem with that for me is that how do I easily generate the initramfs when my root FS is a squashfs image?
