Questions[boot-partition](ubuntu)

I had a working dual boot system with Windows 10 and Ubuntu 19.10, both on separate SSDs and decided to remove Windows altogether. I use gparted from a live usb to wipe the Windows 10 SSD altogether but in doing so, I seem to have removed the EFI and GRUB partitions for Ubuntu also. Now my BIOS does not show ANY boot options. Is there a way to recover the EFI boot files for Ubuntu?

My Ubuntu install was running in an lvm partition.

I have Ubuntu 18.04 installed on a UEFI system with /boot on a btrfs partition (subvol=@).

Because of recent changes in Ubuntu I always get grub timeout 30 sec. This is by design if /boot is on a btrfs partition.

Part of /grub.cfg

I think that if I create a separate ext2 /boot partition the problem will be solved.

The question is if the above assumption is correct, how do I move boot from a btrfs subvol to an ext2 partition?

I am facing a problem about "no space left on device" as shown in the Figure below.

I am relatively a newbie and don't know much about linux. I am using Ubuntu 18.04. Checking out various blogs about my problem such as this one (which suggests that I should increase my drive size) and this one (which is quite similar to my problem) also highlights the same problem but does not specify any solution.

Can you please help any solution? Thank you so much for your attention.

I have already installed Ubuntu on my computer's hard drive. But I want to create a second partition that runs Windows 7. My computer cannot read DVD's (it's that old) so I have the Windows 7 iso file on my desktop and a free 4gb USB that can be used to install it. I would also like to be able to boot into this separate Windows partition.

I have 7Gb available but...
