i want to use Mendeley and MS word 2013 in PlayOnLinux , Is that possible? I installed mendeley in the same virtual drive of MS office, so i manage to install the mendeley plugin for word however it didn't work so far, they refers an error 429. Thank you very much for your help!! Mendeley is a software for reference citations.
I downloaded Microsoft Office 2010 using PlayOnLinux. I checked the reference style there and "Harvard-Angelia" was missing. I downloaded the reference style on .ens form but am confused on where to place that file on.
I have several Microsoft Word template files. They have *.dot
extension:
$ file file.dot file.dot: Composite Document File V2 Document, Little Endian, Os: Windows, Version 6.1, Code page: 1252, Author: user, Template: file.dot, Last Saved By: user, Revision Number: 2, Name of Creating Application: Microsoft Office Word, Total Editing Time: 01:00, Last Printed: Tue Nov 21 14:41:00 1995, Create Time/Date: Fri Dec 20 11:46:00 2019, Last Saved Time/Date: Fri Dec 20 11:46:00 2019, Number of Pages: 3, Number of Words: 300, Number of Characters: 1713, Security: 0
I need to convert them to plain text using some CLI application.
Is it possible?
In MS Word you can Ctrl+F to search a typographical object (sign(s), letter(s), word(s)). A full list of the results is displayed in the left pane (search-engine style: enumerated, with context, and location [page]), so you can have the full picture of a given search in your document without the need to flip pages. Is this possible to display a similar list of the results in the Libre Office Writer? Being forced to look for the highlighted results through pages again is very unhandy in the large documents.
I have LibreOffice v.: 5.3.7.2, build ID: 1:5.3.7~rc2-0ubuntu0.14.04.1~lo0
I have not found the answer in the LibreOffice's wiki.
I've installed MS Office 2007 in Ubuntu 12.04 using Wine 1.4 with no problems, and it works fine with the English Language. However, I need to use it to work with Arabic and Hebrew, and it doesn't work when I switch to a Hebrew or Arabic keyboard. The typing gets reversed.
I saw an earlier post for something similar, but it is closed and I think it was for the earlier Wine 1.3. Supposedly Wine 1.4 has added RTL -- is there a way to get it working?
