java crashes with Illegal memory access. [54]

I'm using java on OEL 5.8 and it crashes in some applications with "Illegal memory access. [54] error". It occurs with 3 different java installations. 2 of them are Jrockit versions (R28.2.5-20-152429-1.6.0_37 and R28.2.2-7-148152-1.6.0_29), third one is Sun so i'm guessing it's not java problem, but a Linux one. Everything worked fine until few days ago when it started crashing. It doesn't crash on every java application, just few of them that are completely unrelated (both of them however have GUI).
