Suddenly one of my RHEL 6 Server [VM]
(serving Apache on it also) went down and when i rebooted it, i saw several of following /var/log/messages
as latest before it went down:

- What does it mean please?
It is connections from Nagios server with Nagios NRPE(Nagios Remote Plugin Executor) which executes checks on other hosts remotely, obviously in collaboration with xinetd. So I do not think it has anything to do with your machine been down, it is not a symptom.
