I'm trying to deploy octopress on a VPS but getting this error bundle: not found
but bundle is installed!
Full error.

I did google and found out about cap shell
and then I found that the PATH variable isn't probably being set somehow
$ cap shell 1 ↵

====================================================================
Welcome to the interactive Capistrano shell! This is an experimental
feature, and is liable to change in future releases. Type 'help' for
a summary of how to use the shell.

I'm not sure what exactly am I missing here. I also tried adding source /etc/profile.d/rvm.sh
to .bash_login
but still no luck.
It appears that Capistrano uses non-interactive shell and hence it won't read bashrc.
Solution:
Added this to
deploy.rb
You should use rvm-capistrano - this projects gives you control over loading rvm and helper tasks like installing rvm or ruby.
When I was getting the
bash: bundle: not found
error with Capistrano and rvm, I was using Puma and discovered that I needed to require capistrano-puma after capistrano-rvm in my Capfile:
