I have memcached cluster with couchbase. For balancing using HAProxy. But have problem with check health.

For check is good following request:

curl -v http://10.0.110.1:8091/pools/default/buckets/default/nodes/10.0.110.1%3A8091/stats

Response is 200 or 404.

In HAProxy:

option httpchk GET /pools/default/buckets/default/nodes/10.0.110.1%3A8091/stats
  server memcached1 10.0.110.1:11211 check inter 3s port 8091
  server memcached2 10.0.110.2:11211 check inter 3s port 8091
  server memcached3 10.0.110.3:11211 check inter 3s port 8091

Problem with "/pools/default/buckets/default/nodes/10.0.110.1%3A8091/stats". How add variable IP of hosts.

Maybe use a variable "dst". But did not work for me:

option httpchk GET /pools/default/buckets/default/nodes/%25%5Bdst%5D%3A8091/stats

Please help me with this issue.

I'm trying to have a replication by xdcr between 2 nodes in 2 servers, but it happens with 2 bucket in the same server too, with the web interface but at the init of the replication, when i start replication, it doesn't replicate any view. (production and dev)

I have the same problem when i use cb_backup and cb_restore.

I made that by hands until now with a stupid copy&paste but i need to know if there is a better way to copy a view from a bucket to another once.

UPDATE:

I have find that with this command i can backup only the document view:

/opt/couchbase/bin/cbbackup http://127.0.0.1:8091 test/ -b bucket_a -x design_doc_only=1

And here to restore:

/opt/couchbase/bin/cbrestore test/ http://127.0.0.1:8091 --bucket-source=bucket_a --bucket-destination=bucket_b

But can i backup everything with only one command? And with xdcr from web gui?

My Development Couchbase server has been stuck rebalancing for 3 days. It has worked its way up to 93% complete on 2 servers and 87% on the last.

How does one go about diagnosing and fixing problems like this?

I'm having this upgrade issue and I'm not sure how to move forward with it. I have 2 couchbase servers, server 1 and server 2. both in couchbase community 2.0.1. I brought the server 2 down and do the couchbase upgrade to 2.1.1. Upgrade successful but then I can't restart the couchbase eventhough I rebooted already. Also for some reason after upgrade the chkconfig for couchbase disappear. Found out that there's a bug for that particular issue so I ended up having to reinstall the whole couchbase server for server 2. No biggy. Installation successful. However when I tried to rejoin the cluster, server 2 gave me this error

Attention - Got no response from save request.

I'm sensing its because server 1 is still in 2.0.1 and it wouldn't let new server 2 with 2.1.1 connect to it. Or is there a different issue? Anyone has ever went through this upgrade process with the same issue and has a solution for it?

I then tried to restore using the file base restore by copying the whole folder back to its original location. Couchbase server 2 can't be started now. 1 thing I just found out. Config.dat is not in the location where I have all the folders. and I found it somewhere else in /opt/couchbase/var/lib/couchbase/config/config.dat. So what that means that config.dat didn't get backed up. Am I pretty much SOL for Server 2? Or can I just copy the config.dat from server 1?

Please help?

FYI. Both my servers are on Centos 6.4 64 Bit.

I havent been able to start my newly installed couchbase-server_2.0.1. I've spent more that 2 hours trying to get couchbase-server work in my local machine.

By the way i'm using Ubuntu 12.04. I tried removing it using this command dpkg -r couch-server and even removing it using my Synaptic Package Manager then deleted couchbase folder located at /opt/ then reinstall it again. But same result always appear to me saying * Failed to start couchbase-server: timed out

Oh by the way I checked my RAM size and hard-drive capacity, im good in that side.

Any of you guys encountered this problem? This is taking a lot of my time. T__T
