In the Crowd's directory adding item, it can add OpenLDAP and must set Base DN in it. However, how to find or set Base DN on the FreeIPA server?

If don't set the right data corectlly, it will cause this error when add a new group by selecting the LDAP directory:

org.springframework.ldap.NameNotFoundException: [LDAP: error code 32 - No Such Object]; nested exception is javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: [LDAP: error code 32 - No Such Object]; remaining name '[HIDDEN]'

Help, we are a small team of 20 trying to get Atlassian Crowd working. The developer who had setup Crowd left the team on a bad note and did not bother to let anyone know the configuration settings for Crowd.

Now, I need to add some users to crowd but cannot login with the admin credentials provided to me. I need to reset the admin password but do not know the type of database used. They do not have mail configured on Crowd either. So I cannot just reset the password.

I am new to this. Can anyone please tell me how I can find out the type of database being used (whether it is MySQL, HSQL or something else - is there a configuration file holding this info)?

Reinstalling Crowd is not an option since they use LDAP for logging in. So while we do this, no one would be able to access their emails.

EDIT - I have the link with which I can reset the admin password. But I do not know which steps to follow because I don't know the DB being used.

Been trying to get Jenkins to work with Crowd's OpenID server so we can use single sign-on like with our Atlassian stuff (the Jenkins Crowd plugin can't do SSO). Can't seem to find the proper OpenID URL to give Jenkins though. Only one I can get from CrowdID is a per-user URL. Is there a way to get a server-wide URL out of CrowdID for this that I'm missing?

It's my configuration: Atlassian Crowd Version: 2.0.2 (Build:#409 - 06-10-2009) Atlassian Confluence 3.0.2

I can't change users' emails in Confluence because I use Crowd as external user management. So I have to change users' emails in Crowd but changes doesn't apply in Confluence. Even users has access to crowd user console and can login to Crowd and view their profile and edit their email password but changed emails doesn't apply in Confluence. What should I do? Is it a bug?

Also I should mention that emails contains dot character(.).

I would like to be able to do this:

    Require group member
  </Limit>
  <LimitExcept GET>
    Require group member
    Require group contributor
  </LimitExcept>
</LocationMatch>

"Require group" lets you suggest lots of groups that are considered with an OR; I require some kind of AND. Satisfy all seems to only influence Require when used with Allow.

Is there a way of controlling group membership with Require/AND?

(I should point out that we are using Atlassian Crowd's Perl module as our group provider, so if it's possible to implement this in the handler, that would work too.)
