I am setting up jenkins and gerrit on the same host, and one thing I need is to have gerrit and jenkins communicate with each other.

When I add the ip address of the host (say 10.25.26.27) then I am not able to get the gerrit trigger to connect to 10.25.26.27. To debug, I tried:

Due diligence with ssh-keygen and copying the id_rsa.pub has been done.

However, when I try the same from another ip address, say 10.24.25.29, I can connect successfully.

I need to run both gerrit and jenkins from the same host. Appreciate help on debugging this issue.

After installing Gerrit following Using Gerrit in production section from https://github.com/GerritCodeReview/docker-gerrit, the field was set automatically to this value:

        canonicalWebUrl = http://eac32ee72f2b/

I want to use Gerrit behind a reverse proxy, so I configured Apache2 like this:

ProxyPass / http://192.168.19.241:8080/ nocanon

This works, but as soon as I set gerrit.canonicalWebUrl to https://gerrit.example.com, I get The page isn’t redirecting properly and the URL in the browser becomes https://gerrit.example.com//login/.

If I try to set the cannonical web url to https://gerrit.example.com/g/ and update Apache2 accordingly to:

ProxyPass /g/ http://192.168.19.241:8080/g/ nocanon

I get "Not found" message in the browser and the URL in the bar now reads https://gerrit.example.com/g//g//g//g//g//g//g//g//g//g//g//g//g//g//g//g//g//g//g//g//g. If I inspect the HTTP headers, for the initial request for page https://gerrit.example.com/g I get a 301 redirect to https://gerrit.example.com/g//g.

In all cases, the configuration httpd.listenUrl was proxy-http://*:8080.

Can anyone tell me what am I doing wrong? I would like to set the proper web URL, because it is visible in the links to checkout repositories over HTTP, and maybe also in other places.

I have gerrit up and running I have committed my first initial change. However, I can only see the Code Review on the Review page. I went to the access page for All-Projects (from which my project inherits its ACLs) and added the Label Verify for administrators. I log into the administrator account but am unable to verify my change and push. Below is a screen shots of what I think to be correct configuration, and a screen shot of the verify label not appearing.

What is the correct way to get the verify label to show up so I can push my change?

I'm trying to find good instructions for installing Gerrit under Tomcat with LDAP support. I need this installed on a Windows 2008 Server, preferably. However, I can opt for Linux if not possible.

The Gerrit instructions only cover install under jetty:

There's not much to work off of if I wish to set this up under different environments.

I can always set this up trial-and-error, but I would prefer to save the time if somebody has already worked through the issues.

I am trying to set up gerrit replication on my environment, but I am getting reject HostKey output.

The pubkey of the user running gerrit is in the authorized_keys2 file on the remote host, however I am able to ssh just fine when I manually do it in the terminal.

Any ideas?
