I have gotten WIAB to properly run on my localmachine, but am a bit confused on the process for setting it up to work with AWS EC2. Currently the run-server.sh is running without any problems, however I don't believe I have it configured properly. Should wave_server_domain, http_frontend_public_address, http_frontend_addresses all be hooked up to my elastic IP, or is it something else?
I'm trying to use the CLI client for Google Wave that Google have created with my @googlewave.com account. I can't seem to get it to connect -- does anyone know if this is actually possible, or if it will only connect to locally hosted wave servers?
I understand that there is a version of the Google Wave server that one can install standalone on their own server. However, my initial reading leads me to understand that there is no web client for this, only a command line client (at this point).
Can someone confirm that this is the case?
Also, if this IS THE CASE is there any current timeline when the web client might be available for the standalone server?
(please feel free to correct my understanding of any of the above)
Does anyone think there is or will be a way for an entity to run their own private/firewalled Google Wave server?
Does their claim to open source Google Wave point in this direction?
