So, one of our admins felt funny and started playing with Jira and Confluence color schemes recently. The result is not really user friendly, neither in terms of usability (contrast etc.) nor aesthetically.

I want to reset everything related to color scheme settings back to factory defaults. Problem is, I have no idea what the factory defaults are / were.

(I probably could find out what the factory defaults are by restoring an older backup, but I'm pretty sure that the SO community will provide this info a lot faster.)

Versions used: Jira 10.x, Confluence 9.x. Both are on-site, but I'd guess the color schemes works the same way in cloud instances. Also I'd guess that different major versions have pretty similar default color schemes.

Shortcuts to the admin pages that have this information:

What I need is the full content of the Colors, Gadget Colors, Global Color Scheme sections, especially the hex color codes, such as #FFFFFF. If there is a separate color code for light and dark themes, please state both in your answer.

If anyone can point me to official Atlassian resource pages with this exact information, that would be a great answer, too.

I have been attempting to follow this guide to have FishEye+Crucible start at boot. JIRA is already installed and running as it's own user (jira) on Ubuntu at boot, but I cannot get Fisheye+Crucible (aka fecru) to do the same.

I followed the instructions there (and Ubuntu related note in the comments of the page) and rebooted, JIRA started on it's own as usual but fecru did not. Does it have something to do with the RUN_AS variable, which I set to 'jira'? Will that command run at boot without prompting for a password for the user 'jira'? I figured it would not prompt because the program JIRA starts at boot fine as that user...

Crucible+Fisheye 2.7.11

Trying to install JIRA on an EC2 micro instance, that has only 600MB. The moment I start tomcat, JIRA uses up almost all existing memory, it is very very slow and it doesn't even start completely.

Anyone has experience with installing JIRA on EC2? Do we need more than 1GB memory? I emailed JIRA tech support, they replied saying they don't have any experience/knowledge installing JIRA on Amazon, so that wasn't much help

I have a problem with keytool tool.

I have a FishEye/Crucible server which needed to be connected to my Jira server. My Jira server uses SSL. I'm trying to import ssl certificate using the following command:

 keytool -importcert -alias "JiraCert" -file jira.crt -keystore $JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/security/cacerts
Enter keystore password:  
Keystore password is too short - must be at least 6 characters

Too many failures - try later

but it asks for password which is empty one as I managed to list available certificates in that keystore with no password, just Enter is pressed.

What do you think, what shall I do?

One of my clients has a confluence / JIRA system set up. They've been having some issues- outbound email gets wedged, etc. If you support a JIRA install, what do you monitor? Do you use JMX? Direct DB queries? Occasional SOAP requests to the API?

I'll be monitoring using Nagios / NRPE, but will write any needed support scripts directly, so any technology that runs on a linux box is probably fine.
