I've got a livebox at a site that needs to have an IPSec site-to-site vpn back into the head office. I can't figure out how to forward / bridge all ipsec (ESP, UDP 500) traffic to the vpn router that I have sitting behind the livebox LAN.

What is the correct way to pass through ipsec traffic (or all traffic if need be) from the livebox to the vpn router. The livebox can't be replaced with another device as unfortunately the site uses its voip functionality.

At home, I have two routers, one Livebox and a Netgear. The reason why I need the Livebox is that the phone line cannot be connected to the Netgear router.

So I have the Livebox connected to the phone line, the Netgear connected to the Livebox, and all PCs connected to the Netgear.

My issue is that for every application or port that I want to give external access, I have to create entry in both the Livebox and the Netgear routers; so I would like to know if there's a way to automatically forward all requests to the Netgear router, from which I will then forward to the required IP:port.

In my specific example I am trying to use OpenVPN and need to port forward 1194 to my internal ubuntu machine on 192.168.1.12 from the Orange Livebox, but the port forwarding page wants an external IP address to enter on the port forwarding page whereas I want to allow all IPs to contact 1194 on that machine.

Any ideas?

I don't really want to put the machine in the DMZ as it runs all sorts of other stuff that I don't want public
