I have an HP DL360 Gen9. It is running Windows Server 2019, but after I restarted it, I'm not able to boot again after "Loading System Firmware Modules - Complete" it just dies with an "Invalid Opcode Exception" ass can be seen below.

("Loading System Firmware Modules - Start" POST Code: 2500 -> "Loading System Firmware Modules - Complete" POST Code: 2600, then the "Invalid Opcode Exception" POST Code still: 2600)

I have tried to update the BIOS to the latest version, but that is not working either.

Windows is booting from a local RAID 1 from the "Smart Array P440ar Controller"

I hope someone can help me out understand what the problem is so that I can fix it.

If you keep hitting the Refresh button on the top left, watch the number of "Hits" and the "Start Time" and "Uptime" values. They all go up and down.

I find this quite strange, normally all 3 of these values should only get higher as time passes, not go down (except Start Time - which should stay the same)

My only assumption is that the cache is being flushed every second.

I've searched around and have tried a few things to fix this

• disabled suEXEC
• set apc.mmap_file_mask /dev/zero
• tried PHP 5 Handler fcgi and cgi

also when I go to /tmp/ on ssh and do -ls I don't see anything apc related.

Any suggestions ?

The server is linux and uses whm/cpanel

*edit: I have a suspicion that the problem may be due to apc.mmap_file_mask. Currently it's set to /tmp/apc-animefus.XXXXXX but on the apc.php page it seems the xxxxxx is replaced on every refresh to something else

let's say I want to improve my application's performances.And I want to use an Opcode cache tool such as APC or eaccelerator and apply variable caching using Memcached. Let's say then I'm a beginner and I have built a working-app using the above specifications.

When I need to publish my site (remote) and I'm looking around for the best "hosting solution" which host-parameters should I care about when it comes to install php extensions such those for my caching tools?Is it even possible to do that using a shared host?

I'm working on a windows environment but I read that Installing such caching tools (or whatever) on Linux server I need to type few commands within a shell..Do this mean host should provide me with a shell window?I'm very confused about this topic.

I have a quite large website, in which there is a forum powered by phpBB. I have APC enabled with 1Gb of RAM. phpBB generates a lot of php files of cache (60 000-70 000 in my case), and they rapidly fill up APC memory. I was thinking to disable apc caching of such files through the apc.filter option. In your opinion, does it make sense?

I read, that APC causes Apache to throw Segmentation faults.

Is this error still valid? I'm asking because we have a web application (PHP) that is used at a local fair and currently has a lot of usage.

We have no problems with memory consumption (currently 1 GB out of 8GB used) but we have quite a lot of CPU usage.

Would an opcode cache help reduce CPU usage? Or should I increase the apache number of apache forks?
