We can send email noification whether success or failure in email of jenkins pipeline.

But it is not visual to understand clearly by the team members.

So, I kept stage name in an environment variable and kept in the email subject where exactly it got failed.

But, it is would be more helpful if I can send the stage view which we can see in jenkins job page.

Like below.

Please suggest how to implement the same.

I am trying to set up a docker deployment process with Azure DevOps using a self-hosted Linux VM as a deployment target. It seems that I must install the AzurePipelines agent on the target Linux VM first, however it always stalls at the "Connect" stage. Since I am doing this for the first time, I suspect that I have missed some crucial step in the process.

What I have done so far:

• created an Azure DevOps project with a build pipeline that successfully pushes a docker image to AzureCR

• created an admin user on a (3rd party hosted) Linux VM VM (have tried CentOS 7 64bit and Ubuntu 18.04 LTS 64bit -- same result)

• created an Environment in DevOps Pipelines

• tried to add a resource to the new environment by copying the provided script to an SSH command prompt on the VM. --> download and unpacking successful, but ends with error:

• manually run ~/azagent$ sudo bin/installdependencies.sh --> finished successfully

• manually run ~/azagent$ sudo ./config.sh --> following output, after that it stalls and does nothing; no VM appears in Azure Pipelines environment resources:

Of course, I have inserted a proper name in the URL instead of [~~~~~].

On a side note, I was able to supply the very same VM with a managed identity by installing the Azure CLI as described in this article, but this does not solve my problem; it just rules out connectivity problems.

What am I missing?

I am following this guide to create a pipeline to deploy my Django project to Digital Ocean, Ubuntu 18 droplet.

What I have done

1. SSH key generated and added to my remote server and bitbucket
2. Synced yml file with project
3. bitbucket-pipelines.yml

Questions

• ssh <user>@<host> I do understand how to replace <user> & <host>
• A.) How I should replace <script> at cat <script>.sh
• B.) How I should replace <myserver> at name: Deploy to <myserver> is this my server's IP address?
• C.) at the bottom section this guide has the following code I do not know what to do whit this?

Given we have Apache web server and a client which sends several pipelined requests.

According to RFC server is supposed to return responses in the same order as requests are sent. So, does it mean server processes requests sequentially or it would still process them in parallel only waiting for slow ones when outputting the lot?

If they are processed in parallel then faster requests (in terms of amount of server time required) which were sent later will be finished earlier then slow requests.

Eg. Request 1 requires 60 seconds to be processed Request 2 - 5 sec Request 3 - 5 sec Request 4 - 30 sec Request 5 - 5 sec

All these 5 requests are sent one after another. Will requests 2,3,5 be completely processed (but not returned) before slow requests 1 and 5 or server would wait for each requests before starting processing another one?

I am trying to test if site/server/whatever has ability to pipeline HTTP request.

So far, I think it is possible to send several request through one curl session, like:
curl http://www.example.com/1.html http://www.example.com/main.css http://www.example.com/2.html

Is possible to use below mentioned to simulate pipelining and how can I actually verify than pipelining was used?

I'm laso thinking about using netcat, send few requests and verify if it'll came back in correct order (as requested by RFC)

Could you give me some hints about how to verify a content was pipelined? (At the best on linux, but is not necessary.)
