Can anyone recommend something that allows us to take hidden periodic screenshots of a workstation?

We have a user who we believe is abusing his computer privileges. We have our suspicions that he may be playing games, etc. We need to monitor his screen without him being aware of it.

Currently, the IT Department here is using Dameware Mini Remote Control to view his login sessions. But there isn't an option to set up automatic periodic screenshots. I'm hoping to find a tool that has this option and can be centrally managed as well.

On Windows Server 2008 R2, one must specify a user for each scheduled task to run under.

We have a policy whereby each domain user must change their password every 30 days.

This creates a problem, as we have many scheduled tasks that need to run on a large number of servers. When the user associated with a given scheduled task's changes his/her password (as required every 30 days), the tasks all stop working (until you log in and change the password on the task).

We tried to run the scheduled tasks under the SYSTEM account but this did not work.

I have thought of creating a new account (SCHED_TASK) that can not log in interactively, is an administrator, and is exempted from the password change requirements.

This seems very much a "hack" to me. Is there a better way or a built in account of some sort that we should use?

What is the best practice in this instance?

Given an inhouse server running in production mode I would like to keep the impact on the users as low as possible when deploying regular updates (to the server itself, not the user machines .. but that would be a pretty similar problem).

The obvious answer to my question is "at night, when the users are at home". But "night" is a long period of time. Should one start early in the evening to perhaps catch problems with the update early on and be ready to rollback? Or is it better to start early in the morning and use the first users as "guinea pigs" to faster trigger the problems? Or in the middle of the night when the concentration of the one overseeing the update is pretty low but it is guaranteed to have no open file handles of some late working users?

Are there any research papers on the topic?

Hai Guys, My application deals scheduled mail concept (i.e) every morning 6.00 am my users gets a remainder mail about their activities for the day... I dont know how to do this.... Many told use windows service but i will host my website on a shared server i may not get rights to do windows service... Is there any dll for sending mails at a schduled time through asp.net application ..please help me out guys......

I have a mdb file at C:\Program Files\ApplcationName\filename.mdb. Please let me know the COPY command to take a backup using .bat file to a folder C:\Backup. In short i am having probles because of the space between "Program" and "Files".
