Questions[teredo](server)

I managed to configure teredo on windows 7 but I come up with one problem ... teredo IP address keep changing . I noticed that terendo stat keep change too , it moving from dormant to enabled and vica versa

when I run (ipconfig /all) it give me :

note that ip version 6 of the teredo interface changed . why this happening ? and how to solve this ? ( I'm behind a NAT if this make any difference )

UPDATE :

I believe my ip address and port number is not changing , the things that changes is the state of teredo ... I noticed that teredo interface ip number not changing directly , but it's state moving to disabled ( or offline or whatever state) then it restart with new IP address ... is this the default behavior or something wrong (in the RFC nothing mentioned about that)

I have some Windows 7 Machines with an issue on the Teredo network interface. It's not working, and due that i dont have routable IPv6 behind a NAT and the tecnologies that depends of Teredo like Direct Access dont work.

I think it's a software compatibility problem.

When I run the command netsh interface teredo show state i get the error "failed to open tunnel interface". In spanish is "no se puede abrir el adaptador de túnel".

I have a server behind NAT, which I want to be able to access from the internet. I want to do it over ipv6. I guess my question falls into two:

1. I don't think teredo is working on it. I have ethernet adapter ipv6 set to automatic, however I don't think there connectivity is there. So, how do I enable teredo to get a publicly accessible ipv6 address?

2. Is it possible to claim a static address in teredo, so that every time I connect the address stays the same?

Today while doing some routine maintenance I discovered that my internet-connected network adapter was using a 6to4 tunnel to connect to my ISP. Some self-eduction on Teredo seemed to indicate quite a few potential security vulnerabilities with using the protocol. I have disabled my network adapter from using Teredo and it doesn't seem to impact my gateway in any way. Is there anything I am missing that should encourage me to turn it back on?

I've got a Vista64 machine behind a NAT router connected to the IPv4 Internet.

Teredo is enabled on my machine and I've got a IPv6 address with 2001:0: prefix. I can ping several servers in the IPv6 Internet (like force.ipv6only.se or ipv6.google.com), and tracert reveals that my IPv6 traffic is routed through a teredo relay. However, I cannot connect to or ping my machine from a machine in the IPv6 Internet. A tracert in this direction stops at the teredo relay.

What steps are necessary to connect to a Teredo-enabled server behind NAT?
