Is it possible for single-instance of Solr to use across multiple Applications, Cross Domains? Like multiple CMSs such as Wordpress + Joomla + Drupal. Any searching from anywhere should be showing the Results from all of connected applications.

For example:
If i search a word marketing from the Wordpress Site, it should output the results from Wordpress itself and also the contents from the Joomla and Drupal sites.

Is it possible?

I have created a dynamic component presentation which contains UGC TCDL tags. The DCP is published to the broker database as REL.

I can see in the COMPONENT_PRESESENTATIONS table that the tags are present. (<tcdl:PostRating .../>, <tcdl:ContextVariable..../> and the like.)

In the COMPONENT_PRES_META_DATA table, I can see that the DCP in question has a COMPONENT_OUTPUT_FORMAT of REL.

I have reduced my test case to a page that does simply the following:

This page renders the content of the DCP exactly as it is to be found in the database, with the <tcdl:/> tags still intact.

In the bin\config\cd_dynamic_conf.xml file in the web site, is configured a Configuration/TCDLEngine/Renderer/TagBundle element, as follows:

<TagBundle Resource="ugc_renderer_bundle.xml"/>

and bin\lib\ugc_dynamic.jar is present

Where else should I be looking for problems with my configuration? Are there any other possible causes for this problem, or approaches I might take?

I have the following location block, as part of a complex routing for a CMS:

$controller is something like "index.php" and $siteName is a hash identifying the specific site in the cms.

It is working fine, nginx rewrites http://www.mydomain/path?somearg=something to http://www.mydomain/index.php/HASH/path?somearg=something.

But when I have an url like this http://www.mydomain/path/?somearg=something nginx redirects(301) to http://www.mydomain/index.php/HASH/path?somearg=something, and index.php and HASH are exposed.

I tried something like this:

            #not sure what to put here

But I'm unsure what to put in the second if block in order to avoid the redirect.

We have a code, content and DB flow that follows a typical pattern:

Dev->Build->Staging->Prod

The kicker is that the client is editing and publishing content only in Prod.

So our current strategy is to attempt to do a full content sync Prod->Staging on a semi-regular basis and then a full sync Prod->Build/Dev on an ad-hoc basis. Doing a Prod->Build/Dev push means the environment is unusable for a period of time (at least a day).

What strategies exist to make sure your dev/test/build environments accurately match prod in terms of content and how are others managing this problem?

We are using Sitecore 6.1 as the CMS system

Managing 50 servers manually, and been looking through the different cms for linux (cfengine,puppet,chef etc) It's use will primarily for CM for config-files.

Is there a cms out there that gather information from the existing servers? So i don't have to write class'es, recipies etc for each server, but automatically gets config-files from my server, so I can edit them centrally later?
