I've just flashed the BIOS of 3 different X9SCD motherboards, all housed within different MicroCloud chassis. I've done this hundreds of times, with this exact BIOS version (x9scd8.612), with no issues. I have my own custom made FreeDOS ISO which I boot up on the IPMI KVM and run a batch file which simply executes:

AFUDOSU.EXE x9scd8.612 /P /B /N /K /R

Completed with no errors on all 3 systems. But after power cycling I can't get into the BIOS. I just end up with this screen:

The systems appears to work fine other than not being able to get into the BIOS. I was able to install Windows 2019 on one of the systems via the IPMI/KVM and boot an existing Linux OS on another. It's just entering the BIOS that seems to fail.

I noticed today that for some reason, Java wasn't allowing me to load the KVM without adding a security exception. This was only on servers running IPMI firmware 3.50. The ones on 3.54 continued to work fine. So I wonder if this is actually BMC/IPMI related? I updated the IPMI firmware on them anyway but that didn't fix it.

In addition, I've just tested another X9SCD server that hasn't been touched at all recently. It was already running IPMI 3.54 and I can't get into the BIOS on that! I'm completely puzzled as to what's going on. Anyone else finding this on X9 generation boards?

Something I can stick in a shortcut or, ideally, run silently and remotely using psexec (from Sysinternals).

A WSUS server is out of the question. Machines needing the updates run Windows XP as kiosks.

I can't use the following call because this file no longer exists:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil<version>_Plugin.exe -update plugin

Instead, I've can see the following files in C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash:

Flash10x.ocx
FlashInstall.log
FlashUtil10x_ActiveX.dll
FlashUtil10x_ActiveX.exe

I've tried FlashUtil11c_ActiveX.exe /?, but this doesn't give anything except an error.

I have been put in charge of setting up a CDN account for streaming video but am not actually running the site that will host the content. How can I test that a published RTMP URL is working? Do I need to create a test page with a Flash video player or is there a simple tool that can consume RTMP streams that can be used to test? The URL is in the following format:

rtmp://example.fcod.llnwd.net/a1111/e11/test/example/file.flv

I'm currently working on a system that has a Flash Client talking to a remote application server via RTMPS. The Flash Client and the app server handshake using an SSL wildcard certificate. For instance, if my app server is on the host "blah.test.mysite.com", the SSL certificate I have (via DigiCert) is for *.test.mysite.com. I have tested this setup and it works on IE9, Firefox 3/4 and Safari 5 with the Flash 10.2 r154 plugin, but it does not work on Chrome 10.

I believe the problem is Chrome's built-in Flash player. In Chrome, if I go to "about:plugins", click the "Details" button on the right and click "disable" next to the Flash player plugin located at "C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\10.0.648.205\gcswf32.dll" and try again (using the system plugin located at "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32.dll"), everything works. But whenever I enable Chrome's built-in Flash player, my SSL handshake from my Flash client to my application server ALWAYS fails. The two Flash players (Chrome built-in and Windows installed) are the exact same version.

Does Google modify their built-in Flash player in any way that could cause this? Does Chrome treat the built-in Flash player differently than the one installed in the OS proper? Any ideas at all as to what could cause this?

How does one prevent hotlinking of swf files from an Amazon S3 file system? Flash files don't send http referrers, so I've tried to set a bucket policy that restricts to certain referrers at Amazon, but no luck.

And this typical anti-hotlinking .htaccess at my server doesn't work:

RewriteRule \.(jpg|jpeg|png|gif|swf)$ mysite.com/goaway.jpg [NC,R,L]

.htaccess and mod_rewrite does work OK for other things, like WordPress permalinks, so I don't think it's a shared hosting-wide problem with mod_rewrite.

Does the URL I'm using in the flash embed matter?: http://mybucketname.s3.amazonaws.com
