I have a main domain lets call it example.com. In aws I have created a hosted zone via pipeline for test.example.com and added 4 NS records to 123-reg.com and its working perfectly.

Now I am trying to create a stag environment stag.example.com and my pipeline created a new hosted zone for stag.example.com and asking to add different 4 ns records, my question is 123-reg only allows maximum 4 ns records and if i remove the old 4 ns records my test.exmaple.com wont work anymore. how to configure this properly?

We're wanting to be able to offer students a basic web development environment for anyone who's interested, but I'm having trouble finding a good solution for something like this.

We currently have an old Windows Server machine that hosts outdated versions of PHP and MySQL, but are looking to provide a higher level of service. I suppose ideally, I'd want the system to:

• Run PHP (more?).
• Offer MySQL databases.
• FTP (and/or SFTP) access.
• Included automated account creation/management ability (SSO, API).

Also, preferably:

• Hosted and managed off-site.
• No maintenance required.
• Latest versions always available.

We've recently switched to Google Apps and feel like we'd prefer something like a "GoDaddy Apps" model. I could be wrong, though. What are other colleges / universities doing to address this need?

I have a business grade hosting account with Webmasters. The web server is Apache. From time to time I setup what Wembasters call Add-on domains.

My problem is that I can't give Add-On domain users ftp access to their own web site. Is there a way I can do this with symlinks or some such?

I'm looking to move my client's file server, mail, and AutoCad files to the cloud. They currently use public folders to organize and share the CAD drawings. What would be the best solution? Gmail for business or hosted exchange? Should I be using Sharepoint to organize and share the AutoCad drawings or will Google Docs work?

First time posting here-I was sent here from Stackoverflow for this question. :-D I'm setting up an online music-lessons site. I have very large video files-500-600Meg each that I want to play from my hosted server. I figured it was as simple as uploading the video and clicking to the url, but when I do that, the quicktime player comes up in my browser, but after two minutes I give up because it looks like it is trying to buffer the whole video before playing-or something?

What do I need to be able to embed my own videos on my own server and have them start playing quickly when a user clicks play?

A note: even thought he video files are really big, I don't expect to have very many people viewing the videos all at once. on a good day, I may have 10 people watching at once at the most.
