My server is running Ubuntu and I have installed ejabberd as one of the famous xmpp servers in order to organize chatting system. Ejabbered is working fine with text messages, but I would like to know whether it supports audio/video calls or not?
If not, could you please tell me which xmpp server to use for this purpose?

I'm going to need to set up video conferencing between Hawaii and Seattle for a small business.
They would like to use a mounted TV to do the video conferencing. It will be one TV to one TV communication.
One option would be to go with Polycom's HDX 6000 series telepresence solutions. I think this device needs a server like Microsoft Lync.
They don't seem to list their prices on Polycom but a google search says the hardware costs about $5000. Lync standard editon costs $699. Total cost for two Polycom's and one Lync server: $10,699
This would be secure, HD, and would offer more features than we need.
Another option would be to use Skype enabled TV's or blu-ray players, which would cost a total of $600 for two sets.
This would also be secure, and HD.
Is the obvious answer to use Skype? Am I missing anything?
Do anybody know what kind of system architecture is behind Websites like tinychat, omegle, cam4, chatroulette? And how much bandwith is needed per connection?
If I'm not wrong they use some video streaming Server like Flash Media Server, Wowza Media Server, Red5, Erlyvideo but this would eat for 20'000 users around 1 Gb/s bandwith? Or do they use some software who is wroking peer2peer? I found some kind of such Software but they all requires some UDP ports to be opened.
Do anybody know how much users 1 server instance with some of the above server software can handle?

This may be a tumbleweed, but does anyone know of a webcam that can be remotely controlled via IP? (understanding you'll have to have static IPs, NATing, open ports in firewalls, yada yada yada)
For example, there are two locations (A and B), and person 1 is in location A, and wants to be able to control a webcam/view in location B to zoom in and out on particular people.

Is there such a thing as a H.323 to RTSP gateway? Am I searching for the wrong terms? This site seems to imply that such a thing should already exists, but I cannot find anything at all. My end goal is to connect a Flash applet (via RTMP) on one end to a video conference (which uses H.323) on the other end. I have a RTMP<-->RTSP/RTP gateway, so a RTSP<-->H.323 gateway would allow this solution to work.
