We are looking at implementing network attached storage to host some our DFS shares. Who are the good / bad vendors? Has anybody already tried this and did it work for them are there better alternatives? Are there any gotchas that we should lookout for. Thanks
We have a developer who lost their MBR on their laptop and we would like to recover the sourcecode on his drive does anybody have any suggestions on recovering this data. We have used FixBoot.exe and FixMBR.exe to replace the damaged boot record and that allows us to do directory searches but nothing returns. Any help would be appreciated.
We need a way to prevent users from copying anything to and from USB drives unless they are a system administrator. What can be done to remove this access for security purposes.
