I have installed CoreOS which by default using loop-back device with size of 100GB and I have reached that limit very easily.

My first idea was to place all the images on top of my NAS using NFS with simply mounting it on top of the /var/lib/docker directory without any success.

Now I have found this article and its looks like docker creates block device in any way, on top of any kind of storage in order to use it's CoW snapshots and that's probably why I wasn't successful on my first shot with simply mounting NFS share on top of image directory. It kind of freaks me out. Why not use pure NFS with native snapshots of the storage? I hope there is good explanation of doing this. In any way I need to do this freak thing. I'm new to docker and CoreOS and do not know how to do this properly. So the question is: How to mount an NFS share and use it for all the images on CoreOS?

How to configure MX zones to utilize Gmail/Outlook as stand-by incoming mail server with my active Exchane to provide reliability?

Gmail/Outlook should only be used in case of Exchange is unavaliable.

What DNS settings work and what is possible issues with such a configuration?

I'm trying ZFS on Linux for Oracle Linux (OLE) 6.1 (Red Hat RHEL 6.1 compatible clone). I successfully compiled and installed spl and zfs on it for Oracle Unbreakable Kernel. Zfs is working and I created mirror by

zpool create -f -o ashift=12 tank mirror sdb sdc

Now I'm trying to share my zfs pool caled "tank/nfs" as mentioned at zfsonlinux site.

zfs set sharenfs=on tank/nfs

So I created tank/nfs and set nfs to on.

Now I'm trying to mount nfs share at local host to test it by

mount -t nfs4 127.0.0.1:/tank/nfs /mnt

But I get mount.nfs4: mount system call failed

So question is:

How to share NFS Folder or iSCSI Volumes at OLE rightly and mount it with Linux Client via ZFS on Linux.

the answer is mount 127.0.0.1:/tank/nfs /mnt

I'm trying Oracle Linux (OLE) 6.1 (Red Hat RHEL 6.1 compatible clone). Actually I'm not familiar neither with RHEL nor with OLE. I want to try ZFS on linux for RHEL as provided in this guide .

sudo yum groupinstall "Development Tools"

I added OL repositories and successfully installed "Development Tools".

Next in guide is

./configure
make rpm

But I do not know where should I run it.

So questions are:

Where should I run ./configure ?

Where should I run make rpm ?

By ZFS on linux guide
