A subset of my users need a way to share an encrypted folder on the file server. Security is the most important, followed closely by ease of use. It appears that TrueCrypt is easier to set up. Does EFS have any advantages over TC to justify the extra setup?
Windows Server 2003 and XP, Active Directory, 100 user LAN.
Edit: I originally missed the limitation of single-user R/W access for Truecrypt. Looks like EFS is better once I get past the setup.
In an Outlook 2007/Exchange 2007/Windows XP environment, what's the best way to manage multiple email accounts? Several users have the task of monitoring multiple accounts. The incoming messages and replies (Inbox/Sent Mail) need to be segregated per account so other users can determine what has been read/sent/etc.
Currently we use Outlook profiles, which require the users to open/close Outlook for every account. They have to do this periodically throughout the day. This is inefficient, so we are looking for a better solution.
My company is using Exchange 2007, Windows 2008 Server, Outlook 2007. One specific user claims she never received an important email. Using the Message Tracker in Exchange, I can see that the message was delivered (EventID: DELIVER Source:STOREDRIVER) to the correct person.
I'd like to be able to determine if the message was deleted or moved (or read) after it was delivered. Is there any way to track this, short of entering the user's mailbox and searching all folders and the Delete Retention?
Update The User says the message "showed up in my inbox this morning. I know it wasn’t there all weekend. Something weird is going on with my inbox." Issue resolved IMO.
