Nginx 403 Forbidden on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

I'm new at Linux and Nginx. I'm running Nginx 1.24.0 on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. By default, Nginx creates a virtual host at /var/www/html and serves files correctly when I create virtual hosts there. However, I’m trying to serve a virtual host, I keep getting a 403 Forbidden error.

Files in /var/www/html work fine. but when I try to serve from /home/amyr/Desktop/Sites/telbot/public or any other places that I've created, I get a 403 Forbidden error.
