I created an Amazon Free tier Usage Account. I launched two amazon ec2 instances using the online tool. After that one instance was created and running while other was pending which quickly shifted to terminated state.
In description it shows
State Transition Reason: Server.InternalError: Internal error on launch
Is there any where I could restart the terminated instance or remove it from table. It looks very annoying
I wish to set up an load balancer via direct routing switching technique.I installed ipvsadm via
$ sudo apt-get install ipvsadm
Setup
Virtual IP is 172.17.10.173 subnet mask 255.255.240.0
linux director IP is 172.17.6.111
Real Server1 is 172.17.2.210
Real Server2 is 172.17.14.11
I have followed the instructions given on this page for Direct Routing except for the settings in /etc/sysctl.conf in real server because I have not installed any patch.
I am having problems in connecting to VIP.
curl 172.17.10.173 does not give any response.
I have created an alias IP address of my computer using
sudo ifconfig eth0:0 172.17.10.173 netmask 255.255.240.0 broadcast 172.17.15.255
My orignal IP is 172.17.6.111 and netmask is 255.255.240.0. I am trying to set up an Load balance using ipvsadm via direct routing ipvsadm technique as it is given here When someone tries to connect it via browser it shows no response .
