Going to be moving a server to new hardware in a new datacenter soon, and of course this means a new IP.
What is the correct process (if at all) to move the SSH keys from the original server to the new one so that connecting clients don't get any warnings or have to accept anything again?
Is it even possible, considering the IP is changing?
What files do I have to move? I'm assuming all of the ssh_host_* files.
Moving from RHEL 5 to Ubuntu 10.04.
I am stuffing haproxy in front of 3 riak nodes with HTTP. I want the backend name and/or ip in the response headers. Something like:
X-Proxy-Backend: riak-1 10.0.0.1
or whatever.
How can I make this happen?
Long story short, at our office network, we can't really certain things. Last.fm downloads an entire song before playing it, and YouTube loads and then all of a sudden the entire video is loaded and it plays. It won't play before hand.
iTunes radio streams fine.
Is there a router setting or something else in our network hardware that would affect this? I'm currently on a Linksys Wireless-N router (the standard black spaceship looking thing) and we have some other stuff in the server room (not exactly sure what), but if there is a setting I can look for I can go in and poke around.
EDIT: The firewall appliance we have is a Fortigate of sorts, I believe a something in the 60 series.

Talking to some other folks here, we know it's the Fortigate that's causing the problem.
EDIT: Turning off AV fixed the problem (it was expired anyway).
So long story there is an SVN VM (vmware server) that has run out of space. I can't commit because it says it's out of space. The VM has one 80GB virtual drive attached (hda), a /boot partition, and a big VG (VolGroup00) for /
I am archiving and deleting old SVN repos from the disk, but I am getting no free space back. What do I need to do to get this space back available for use? I use Linux for almost everything, but have never really played with LVM enough to know what's going on.

Something still seems weird, since it says 959M avail, and yet 67G used with a 72G size...
So I am getting space back, now, from deleting repositories...and yet, balance is not yet restored in the universe...
I'm trying to setup some Xen stuff, and made 4 images, exactly the same, based on the Ubuntu hardy 64 bit system I'm running everything on.
I literally made the images with a bash loop, and they are all exactly the same, named xen{1,2,3,4}.
1, 2, and 3 start just fine, but 4 hangs on waiting for root file system.
I just got my new server setup and in the corner and am in the process of moving services over to it from my existing box. I need to move over mysql and apache.
What's the best way to move everything over? Just copy over all the apache directory roots and the sites (the config files) I'm assuming is the best/only way to get apache over, but with mysql I obviously want to keep all the passwords for things, so should I just backup and restore or can I make them talk to each and tell the one server to just suck data from the other one?
EDIT: I can afford to take the site down for 30 minutes or so, if that makes a difference.
I'm setting up a new server and am debating between the LTS and latest versions. I normally run the newest stuff (my current server for which this is a replacement is latest), but I want 64 bit this time (lots of RAM!).
I want stability but I also want things to just work, and 64 bit has given me headaches in the past, but it was mainly with desktop setups. Is the older, but more stable and longer supported LTS version better to go with, or latest and greatest, but be-prepared-to-upgrade-in-6-months version the best?
