I have an infrastructure with two physical locations which we are connecting via a Site-to-Site VPN. Only one side has a static IP from the ISP whilst the other site does not as the ISP there does not offer static IP services. Long story short, we do not own the line at SiteB so cannot switch providers etc.

SiteA (Static IP) and SiteB (Dynamic IP).

Our issue is not so much about the VPN setup but we have services running at SiteB which requires the IP address to be Whitelisted for security reasons. This is a long shot but are there any methods to setup SiteB's network so that any outbound connection will report SiteA's IP address?

I've seen some home Client-Server VPN solutions where client IP can report the server's IP address. Not sure how we can approach this at the "Business/Enterprise" level and if Client-Server VPN setup would solve our problem or any Site-to-Site VPN solution to achieve the same?

We have an issue where the whole iis server is crashing. From my understanding when an application crashes (due to infinite loop or else) only that application pool is taken down.

In our sceanrio all Application Pools (we have more than 1) are stopped. We're still trying to pinpoint the cause but in you experience would a faulty app take down the whole IIS?

Any insights would help greatly.

I've successfully installed TeamCity ib CentOS 6.2 Minimal. I'm stuck on trying to run a script automatically on system startup:

/opt/TeamCity/bin/teamcity-server.sh start

I've googled around and tried various methods all of which seems to fail. Most of the methods points to adding the startup script to one of the rc.local files:

/etc/rc.d/rc.local
/etc/rc.local

And the contents of rc.local contains the line:

/opt/TeamCity/bin/teamcity-server.sh start

None of which will start the teamcity server

There are no problems if i run the script manually.

Seems simple but how do i get a shell script to auto run?
